With an original style, NICO approaches different music styles, R&B being the style that suits with her personality.

A proof of her talent are the prizes that she received in a relatively short time: “Doina Badea” prize for the best vocal soloist at the National Theatre. Festival from Constanta, every year from 1996 to 2000; First Prize for the best female voice at Ion Vasilescu Festival in 1998, Second Prize at Mamaia Festival in 1999, creation section. In 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006 she participated to the national selection for Eurovision, second prize to International Golden Stag Festival in Brasov. The grand Prize and other four in Bulgaria, Varna, at “Discovery Fest” Festival, 2004. The grand Prize and the Throphy “Asian Voice” in Kazahstan, Alma Ata, 2004 Second Prize at Mamaia Festival 2004.

In spite of her attraction to blues, soul, jazz, the most suitable style to her personality R&B, was adopted for her first album “thoughts for them”.

For this album she had collaborate with her husband, that is the composer of most of the songs but also with her friends Puya, Cabron, Don Baxter.
